Why do Skinny People Have Cellulite, too?

New Exciting Testimonial Just Added to the Revitol Cellulite Solution Review Page

cellulite5It’s interesting to look around the gym to see who has cellulite and who doesn’t, isn’t it?  I often see overweight people who have skin that’s as smooth as silk, then I’ll see someone who is obviously in great shape who has cottage cheese all over the back of their legs.  What gives?

For anyone who thinks that cellulite discriminates, let me put that notion to rest.  I’m one of those people who works out 5 days a week, am at a great weight, but yet still battle with the lumpy skin on both the front and back of my legs, not to mention my booty.  Now it’s not horrible, but it just shouldn’t be there.  It’s just wrong!  I don’t eat junk food (well, not much anyway).  I rarely eat sweets, I don’t smoke.  I drink a couple of times each week, but not typically in excess.  I look at all the causes of cellulite and I’m not really a candidate – except for a couple of things.  First of all, I’m a woman and according to those darn statistics, 80-90% of all women in the Western hemisphere will develop cellulite.  The other reason may be a genetic predisposition (thanks, Mom).  Hard to say, but it’s frustrating.

In the past, I considered some of the spa type treatments such as Velashape and those type things, but do you have any idea what they charge for that?  OMG!  It’s in the $1000′s.  And that was just one leg.  I have two.  Can’t very well smooth out one without doing it to the other.

I’ve tried some over the counter creams, lotions, potions, hard dry brushes on dry skin (ouch) and deep massage.  None of it really worked.  But I did find a product recently that I love and I want to share with you.  It’s Revitol Cellulite Solution.  You simply rub it on and let it do its thing.  Simple…I like simple.  But the difference is that it works and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg.  In fact, right now, they’re having a special.  They give you 2 bottles free with your purchase of one of their packages (not very expensive).  Check it out here.  Click on the banner below and read all about it.  There’s a 90 day 100% money back guarantee.  Gotta love that.

You are so right! When people think of cellulite they think of people that are overweight. But that’s not how cellulite works. It can be a very frustrating thing trying to find something to get rid of it. We all know that there are a lot of cellulite products out there that just plain do not work but I have to agree Revitol is one of the best treatments available.

Genetics, smoking, lack of movement, and stress can all be linked to the production of cellulite and the list keeps growing.

For so long I have thought I was fat. I’m 5′ 5” and 129lbs. I’ve become obsessed with exercises and sometimes I’ll forget to eat. Everyone tells me I’m skinny. But mentally I feel that I can be skinnier and I’m still not happy with what I weigh. But if I am so “skinny”, then why do I have cellulite on the back of my legs? I’ve tried everything to lose it but my friends and family get upset with me for being an “exercise junky”. I can’t afford creams. So, what can I do to get rid of it?

  8. Sharon from Mobile Spa says:

It is a similar effect with wrinkles. They show up more clearly on skinny people.

  9. I have some cellulite on my upper thighs and buttocks area. I am fairly young and in pretty good shape. At first I feared I was starting to gain weight as I got older so I tried exercising and dieting, but it did not go away. Now, I have learned it has genetically been passed down to me. Will try these creams out and see how they work!

I have never seen someone who is skinny have cellulite. But I do notice that typically, a lot of women in their 30′s seem to develop cellulite. Most of them are really not grossly overweight but maybe could lose 10lbs or so.
That’s great that there is perhaps an affordable solution. Hard to beat many things that are genetic.

  11. Ray says:

Yeah, some slimmer women get cellulite too. But by definition, they have a hell of a lot less of it. Plus, they have the advantage of not being fat. Win/win.
